- My grandmother, Trosolina Pardi, was born in Teramo about 1890, she married Luigi DiBattista born Aquila Italy 1891. Moved to Hartford,CT settled in Norwich, CT. He had the Italian hour on the local Radio station two days wa week. I’m attempting any assistance in locating any and all relatives. Anyone with information about these families please contact me at: David Di Battista
- My great great grandfather was Casimiro Alleva who was born in Teramo in 1856. He married Enrichetta Taraschi who was born in Canzano in 1853. Their five children, Giacomo, Giovanni, Italia, Sante and Filomena, were born in Teramo. Am interested in any photos of these individuals or information about these two families.
jalleva_at_cox.net - My great grandfather (Battista Quartapelle, b. 1881) emigrated to the US (to Philadelphia) in 1914 with his wife (Maria Antoinette) and young son (Berardo). Battista was originally from Montepagano; Maria was from Altri. Interestingly, Berardo (and his children) are the only members of our family that kept the original spelling of our last name. There were a few Quartapelle’s (less than 10) that emigrated to (and settled in) the Philadelphia area. The first in 1902 (Alfonso). They were all from the Teramo region. There is clearly some Quartapelle history in Teramo (esp during the Napoleonic Era). Berardo Quartapelle (esp around 1798) seemed to be a well regarded abbot and scientist; his son (Raffael, b. 1811) was also well regarded. I was born in Philadelphia; and my family moved to Texas when i was very young. I now live in north carolina. My father is still living, but his family (like many who settled in the US) became very American and lost touch with their relatives. He can only take me back as far as his grandfather (Battista). i have to think that there is a link to my family and names like Berardo and Raffael. Please contact me if you have any information about these family names. Thank you!! drewq_at_mindspring.com

Hello! My great grandfather, from Castiglione Messe. Raimondo, come to Brazil in 1913. In Brazil he was known like Salatino di Ferdinando, but his real name was the inverse this: Ferdinando di Salatino. His mother was called Maria Castelli. He was married with Maria Ricci and, when they left Italy, they had 4 sons: Adelina, Masino, Gabrille and Domenico. I guess he had a brother called Luigi too. If somebody knows any information about, please, contact me! Since now, I’m grate.
